My work celebrates words and family and color and texture. I find joy in combining color and shape and texture to create unique beaded jewelry pieces. I find satisfaction in hammering metal with stamps and designs to create lasting wearable pieces of jewelry. I find fulfillment when I help create a personal piece to celebrate your special occasion.

Exploring a beach in Maine on my honeymoon. Rocky beaches are my favorite, there are so many treasures to be found.

As a self described “word nerd,” art lover, and maker of jewelry, hand-stamping metal just makes sense. I am a graduate of Indiana University School of Fine Arts with a major in Art History and a minor in Comparative Literature. I did take a jewelry design class during my time there. After graduation, I lived in Germany for a short time and traveled to as many European Art Museums as I was able. Upon returning home, I continued acquiring degrees and am now teaching high school English and German in the small community that has always been home. I am the mother of twin boys on the cusp of 12 and the bonus mother to a 14 year old and 9 year old boy. Teaching and mothering take up much of my time, but as they grow and become independent, I have more time for me. I love creating jewelry because it enables me to see a solid product as opposed to the outcomes of my teaching and parenting. I am inspired by my children and family, by my students, by my course material, by nature and by politics, and by my travels.

Each piece is unique because they are all hand-made by me.
